Weight Loss Medication:
Semaglutide works by mimicking the action of a hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) in the body which is naturally released by the intestine in response to food intake. Semaglutide acts by activating GLP-1 receptors in the brain, which helps to regulate hunger and reduce food intake. Semaglutide is administered via subcutaneous injections once a week.
Nutrition and Lifestyle coaching will be provided by Mike Hope of Hope Fit to educate and inform all approved patients about the importance of nutrition and lifestyle adjustments in addition to the medication. The medication will be administrated temporarily, but the changes made to ones lifestyle and food consumption habits will last forever.
Behavioral Pattern Consultations
